SOUTH CAROLINA IS ONE OF ONLY TWO STATES OUT OF 50 WHO DO NOT HAVE A HATE CRIME BILL, AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THE THE CHIEF OR ANYBODY FEELS ABOUT IT, BUT I THINK THAT THIS COUNCIL SHOULD CONSIDER WHETHER OR NOT THEY WANT TO PASS A MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE, SUCH AS THE ONE IN BLUFFTON, AND I THINK A COUPLE OTHER MUNICIPALITIES ALSO.

I'M NOT ASKING THE CITY TO DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN ENFORCE THE LAW, AND WHEREVER THEY ARE NOT COMPLIANT WITH THE LAW, I WANT IT CRACKED DOWN ON.
I WANT THE LAW ENFORCED AND WHATEVER THAT MEANS ACCORDING TO THE LAW.
SO I THINK THE COUNCIL WOULD LIKE A RECAP OF WHAT'S BEEN DONE OVER THE YEARS.
A RECAP OF WHAT THE ORDINANCES ARE, AND A RECAP OF WHERE THEY ARE NOT COMPLIANT WITH THE LAW AND WHERE THEY'RE NOT COMPLIANT, L ET'S PUT OUR FOOT DOWN.
WE CAN'T LET ANYTHING CONTINUE TO GO EXCEPT FULL COMPLIANCE.
