I AM THE PATROL DIVISION COMMANDER FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

AND TODAY, I'D LIKE TO INTRODUCE ONE OF THE NEW ADDITIONS TO OUR PATROL DIVISION IN OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT.

THIS IS PETER JAMES.

HE'S LIVED IN HARDEEVILLE FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS IN THE BEAUFORT, JASPER AREA.

HE CURRENTLY LIVES IN THE CITY LIMITS.

IN HEARTHSTONE LAKE OR.

YEAH, IN HEARTHSTONE.

HE LIVES THERE. HE'S MARRIED.

THEY HAVE THREE CHILDREN.

HE'S GOT TEN YEARS OF SOUTH CAROLINA LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE THAT HE BRINGS US.

AND BEFORE THAT, HE SERVED TWO ENLISTMENTS IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS FROM 2005 TO 2013.

WE HAD A YOUTH COUNCIL MEETING AND WE HAVE ANOTHER ONE.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN THE EIGHT YEARS I'VE BEEN RUNNING THE YOUTH COUNCIL, WHERE THE KIDS ACTUALLY ASKED TO GO TO TWO MEETINGS A MONTH INSTEAD OF ONE.

AND SO NEXT WEDNESDAY, WE ARE GOING TO BE THEY'RE GOING TO BE FILMING A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT.

THEIR THEME THIS YEAR IS, IT'S ALSO DEALS WITH PUBLIC HEALTH, BUT IT'S IT'S ABOUT PERSONAL HYGIENE FOR, MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. SO WE'RE GOING TO BE FILMING THIS WEDNESDAY.
